International Women's Day is celebrated every year on March 8th to recognize and celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It also serves as a call to action for gender equality and women's rights worldwide. Sharing some glimpses on International Women's Day celebrations by one of our implementers. 

Hariraj Charitable Trust conducted the ‘Women Climate Change Leader Program’ to  prepare women farmers as change leaders in the area of climate change. To promote and motivate women, an annual convention program was organised on 8th March 2023, where more than 500 women participated. 30 change leaders were also appreciated for their contribution and support. The program has been a great success in empowering women and promoting climate change awareness in the community.
